My style aims to capture the fun, the unique personalities, the posed and the unposed as well as the in between moments that define who you are as a family.
These sessions are perfect for families who want to capture their kids before they grow up, those who live far away from family, or anyone wishing to preserve the genuine moments with aging grandparents. It's all about cherishing the connections and memories that mean the most to you.

Sessions take place at sunset in the picturesque Samford area in North Brisbane, where the natural beauty of the landscape provides a stunning backdrop for your family photos. Depending on the time of year, we have a variety of enchanting locations to choose from, including lush fields, charming farms, rustic fences, and serene creeks. Imagine capturing your family's special moments against the backdrop of country roads and mountain vistas, all bathed in the golden hues of a spectacular sunset. Each setting offers its own unique character and charm, enhancing the warmth and authenticity of your photographs.
If you have a specific location in mind outside the Samford area, I'm more than happy to accommodate your vision. Whether it's a favourite beach, a beloved park, or any place that holds special meaning for your family, we can create beautiful memories there as well. Simply get in touch to discuss your ideas, and we can make arrangements to bring your vision to life (please note that a travel fee may apply for locations beyond Samford). My sessions are typically held at sunset during the golden hour, a magical time when the sun casts a warm, golden glow over the landscape, creating the perfect lighting conditions for your family photos. This time of day enhances the natural beauty of the environment, adding depth and richness to each image while highlighting the genuine connections and emotions shared among family members. The soft, flattering light during the golden hour ensures that your photos are not only visually stunning but also timeless.
However, I understand that sunset sessions can sometimes overlap with the "witching hour," a time when young children might be a bit more restless or tired. To accommodate your family's needs and ensure a stress-free experience, I also offer sunrise sessions as an alternative. Morning sessions provide a serene and peaceful atmosphere, with the gentle morning light offering a fresh and vibrant backdrop for your photos. Whether you choose the tranquility of sunrise or the warmth of sunset, my goal is to capture your family's unique essence in the most beautiful and natural way possible.
Family sessions are $447 for 10 professionally edited images, with additional images available at $30 each.
